Sprouts Farmers Market

Sprouts Farmers Market is a successful natural and organic supermarket chain with over 350 locations and aggressive plans to expand their “Healthy Living for Less” concept nationwide. The stores are bright and cheery with cedar wood finishes throughout and a colorful farm scene mural that anchors the produce department. Along with providing retail decor and grocery store signage for their new stores, CIP has successfully partnered with Sprouts through their mergers/acquisition of the Henry’s Farmers Market and Sunflower Farmers Market chains.

Rite-Aid

CIP Retail has provided design, decor, and retail signage for Rite-Aid chainwide for nearly 15 years. This Beverly Hills, CA location featured custom elements and unique services not found in a typical store. Rite Aid has enhanced this store with a specialty cosmetic department and full time beauty ambassador on staff. CIP Retail provided turnkey store design, manufacturing and installation of the interior décor elements at this location. In addition, CIP Retail installed a custom fabricated illuminated ribbon design element, as well as custom acrylic paneling and satin anodized extrusions which replaced the Marlite paneling found in typical retail stores. Another unique feature for this location is a “Fresh Day Café” with specialty food, coffee and Thrifty yogurt offerings.

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is a new natural and organic supermarket chain which opened its 1st store in April 2014. Fresh Thyme has aggressive plans to expand throughout the Midwest. The food retail stores are warm and inviting with wood finishes throughout. Designed by API+, CIP Retail fabricates and installs all of the decor and signage, which includes elements such as printed graphics on corrugated metal, T1-11 and other wood substrates, along with cedar trims throughout.

Market Bistro by Price Chopper

Price Chopper and CIP Retail partnered together for the store design completion, fabrication, and installation of the unique décor elements found in the Market Bistro by Price Chopper in Latham, NY. This flagship store incorporates all offerings of a typical supermarket design, but expands with a specialty Bistro Boulevard with numerous food offerings and extensive Café seating area. Additionally, this store features a Chef’s Grill where a chef will prepare a gourmet meal and you can enjoy a glass of wine. CIP Retail provided custom signage including a Cereal wall with oversized dimensional spoons and custom graphics. On the opposite side of cereal CIP Retail created a Beer wall with half round beer barrels, custom graphics and full size beer taps. Custom candy displays, LED Neon illuminated signs, and other elements were also incorporated to create this unique supermarket shopping experience.

Strack & Van Til

This was a major remodel of a store CIP Retail had previously designed and manufactured for Strack & Van Til ten years earlier. CIP created an updated retail design that emphasized local shops throughout the store, resulting in a unique shopping experience. Large, impactful departmental wall lettering works in conjunction with various woodgrains throughout. Their dedicated craft beer department was designed to create an inviting feeling for the interior beer cooler.

Dave’s Fresh Marketplace

Dave’s is Rhode Island’s largest independent grocer with 10 locations throughout Rhode Island. Dave’s has established an outstanding reputation for quality products and superior customer service. For many years, CIP has worked with Dave’s to design very unique shopping environments with a distinct New England feel. In fact, CIP is often asked to not only emulate the local architecture of New England but many of the specific town’s historic buildings. These special touches and other localized elements reinforce how much Dave’s is proud to be an integral part of the communities they serve.

Tops Market

When Tops decided to expand operations into the Hudson Valley area for the first time, they wanted to maximize the store experience in this particular location in Carmel, NY. The store design directive from Tops was for CIP Retail to emulate some of the local architecture as departmental “storefronts” around the perimeter of the store. Attractive graphics and wayfinding serve to enhance the store’s superior merchandising.

Berkot’s Super Foods

Berkot’s Super Foods has experienced impressive growth over the past 15 years, expanding throughout the various suburbs south of Chicago. CIP has worked with Berkot’s on their past nine projects, each of them with their own unique interior design concept tailored to fit the local demography. Berkot’s Super Foods wanted a clean, contemporary feel for their Midlothian location. CIP delivered this modern decor concept using visually appealing architectural features and backlit LED graphics throughout.
