For their new 78,000 square foot flagship store, Martin’s wanted a substantial interior upgrade. This was accomplished with a neutral color scheme that didn’t compete with the merchandise. The decor package is highlighted by a large mural depicting farmers harvesting fresh produce, and a cantilever signage system designed to give the feeling of village shops in a street environment.
A state-of-the-art décor package combined with innovative fixture layout and superior merchandising resulted in a truly world-class space when Schnuck Markets opened their flagship store in the St. Louis suburb of Des Peres. With the design effort led by API+, CIP not only executed the décor fabrication and installed all interior components, but worked closely with the designer to develop budget-minded solutions for a number of complex elements.
Market Street was a new concept store developed specifically for the United Supermarket chain. The flagship store was designed by Shook Kelley and created an environment that meets the branding message of United Supermarket in this upscale format. The store features unique sweeping basket weave floating soffits encompassing the sales area instead of traditional soffit construction. The store also features natural woods, large trellises, and distinct Texas architecture and construction. United Supermarkets continues to expand this concept into numerous other Texas locations.
Berkot’s Super Foods has experienced impressive growth over the past 15 years, expanding throughout the various suburbs south of Chicago. CIP has worked with Berkot’s on their past 9 projects, each of them with their own unique interior design concept tailored to fit the local demography. Berkot’s wanted a clean, contemporary feel for their Midlothian location. CIP delivered this modern decor concept using visually appealing architectural features and backlit LED graphics throughout.
Price Chopper and CIP Retail partnered together for the design completion, fabrication, and installation of the unique décor elements found in the Market Bistro by Price Chopper in Latham, NY. This flagship store incorporates all offerings of a typical supermarket, but expands with a specialty Bistro Boulevard with numerous food offerings and extensive Café seating area. Additionally, this store features a Chef’s Grill where a chef will prepare a gourmet meal and you can enjoy a glass of wine. CIP Retail provided custom signage including a Cereal wall with oversized dimensional spoons and custom graphics. On the opposite side of cereal CIP Retail created a Beer wall with half round beer barrels, custom graphics and full size beer taps. Custom candy displays, LED Neon illuminated signs, and other elements were also incorporated to create this unique shopping experience.
CIP Retail has completed its installation of the 2nd Beverly Hills, CA location. The store featured custom elements and unique services not found in a typical store. Rite Aid has enhanced this store with a specialty cosmetic department and full time beauty ambassador on staff. CIP Retail provided turnkey store design, manufacturing and installation of the interior décor elements at this location. In addition, CIP Retail installed a custom fabricated illuminated ribbon element, as well as custom acrylic paneling and satin anodized extrusions which replaced the Marlite paneling found in typical stores. Another unique feature for this location is a “Fresh Day Café” with specialty food, coffee and Thrifty yogurt offerings.
